PlayStation 5 Slim video emerges Microsoft claims that the PlayStation 5 Slim model won’t have a disc drive. The new model, thanks to an advanced cooling system, will offer the standard PlayStation 5 features in a slimmer casing.
According to leaked information, Sony will reduce the number of USB ports in the new model to save costs. It’s expected that the storage space will be 1 TB as the prices of PCIe 4.0 SSD models have dropped.
The Slim version of the device will come with a single slot instead of the two SSD slots found in the PS5 model for a more compact design. Although not confirmed yet, the PlayStation 5 Slim model is said to be released with a price tag of $400.
